Job Summary

Banquet Staff set up and break down event spaces, serve food and beverages during banquets and events, and help ensure every function runs smoothly from start to finish. JOB SUMMARY

A cosmetologist (also known as a beautician) enhances clients’ beauty by providing cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments, as well as makeup application, facials, and nail care. They consult with clients to understand their beauty goals, recommend appropriate treatments and products, and ensure a clean and safe work environment.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cutting, coloring, styling, and providing various hair treatments.
  • Applying makeup and advising clients on makeup techniques.
  • Conducting facials, and chemical peels
  • Performing manicures and pedicures, including cutting, cleaning, grooming, and painting nails.

Job Summary

A Maintenance Assistant works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to complete a wide variety of repair, upkeep, and improvement projects across both Riverwalk Place and Rivertown Inn, while also independently identifying and resolving day-to-day maintenance needs. This role requires a broad, working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair skills, along with the initiative to prioritize tasks and see them through with minimal supervision. A self-starter attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask across locations are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with daily maintenance tasks, projects, and preventative maintenance schedules at both Riverwalk Place and Rivertown Inn.
  • Independently identify, prioritize, and complete routine maintenance and repair tasks across both properties.
  • Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform carpentry, drywall repair, and painting touch-ups as needed.
  • Assemble, install, and maintain furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment at both locations to identify maintenance needs.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff at either property.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work and supplies used.
  • Assist with seasonal upkeep, including mowing, trimming, snow removal, and irrigation maintenance.
  • Travel between Riverwalk Place and Rivertown Inn as needed to address maintenance needs.
  • Communicate proactively with the Maintenance Supervisor on project status and any issues that arise.

  • Broad, working knowledge across multiple maintenance disciplines (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, general repair).
  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks across more than one location.
  • Comfortable using a wide variety of hand and power tools.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude and eagerness to learn new skills matter as much to us as years of experience.

Additional Requirements

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, including occasional on-call availability.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team with the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between Riverwalk Place and Rivertown Inn (less than a mile apart).
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Positive attitude and pride in a well-maintained property.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in tight or confined spaces.

Education/Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities, construction, or a related trade preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required for travel between properties.
